The Farm... 5 acres in rural Eagle, Idaho, 12 miles west of Boise. We've been here for 18 years. The
farm began life as an alfalfa field way back when this was all farmland. Today, much of it has been coverted to 2-5 acre lots. the 5's are typically too big for California transplants to manage. It is up to a few of
us "farmers" that were raised on a farm to take care of this size of property. We have converted the alfalfa field into 5 acres of birdland. Most of the acreage is planted with trees and "layered" for bird habitat;
a safe place to raise a family. In total, there are close to 1000 trees on the The Farm, 2 ponds, a barn, grazing pasture and a lot of special places to get away and enjoy.
